ARABIC PAGEMAKER:
Adobe PageMaker is the premiere Arabic typesetting and page layout application. Adobe PageMaker 5.5-ME is available for use with multiple languages, including Arabic, Persian and Hebrew with other languages. It is available for BOTH Macintosh and Windows. It includes four Arabic fonts, and a calligraphy Arabic font family supporting over 300 ligatures, and enhanced Arabic typo- graphic capabilities never before seen in Arabic Desktop Publishing.

The Windows version is intended for use with MS-Arabic Windows 3.11, and supports Arabic and roman based languages.

The Macintosh version is intended for use with either the Macintosh Arabic O/S 7.1 and higher, -or- English O/S 7.1 and higher, with Arabic Language Kit. It can support Arabic, Persian, Hebrew and roman-based langauges. User has option of installing Macintosh or PowerMac versions.

Adobe PageMaker includes TEXT-IMPORT FILTERS for importing Arabic text created with Windows and Macintosh programs. A special WinText Filter is available to import FORMATTED Arabic text created with the WinText multi-lingual word processor for the Macintosh.

ARABIC PHOTOSHOP:
Adobe PhotoShop 3.05 includes all the features that makes this the program of choice for professionals worldwide. This special version includes the ability to select two fonts within the text dialog box, for bi-directional text entry, i.e. Arabic and English, Arabic and French, etc.).

Adobe PhotoShop 3.05 is currently available for the Macintosh, and is intended for use with either the Macintosh Arabic O/S 7.1 and higher, -or- English O/S 7.1 and higher, with Arabic Language Kit. It can support Arabic, Persian, Hebrew and Latin-based langauges. User has option of installing Macintosh or PowerMac versions.
