The directory files for restaurants, markets, and software are now available by anonymous ftp archive at : ftp.rpi.edu , dir:

My thanks to those of you who sent in additions for the directories.
An Ethiopic/Ge'ez X Windows font with 360 letters, numbers, punctuations, and 4 glyphs is now available at the same site in dir:
/pub/languages/ethiopia/fonts/X11
Additional fonts are underway, a file is provided to describe the font making process in the X environment for those who wish to try their hand at it.
An application, Ethiopic Viewer 0.3, that uses the X font mentioned above, is also available now in:
/pub/languages/ethiopia/email
A new gif file of the basic fidel has been added to the archive in dir:
/pub/languages/ethiopia/gif
