NEW ELECTRONIC JOURNAL: The Center for African Studies
at the Univ. of Florida invites submissions to its
new Electronic Journal, AFRICAN STUDIES QUARTERLY.
This is an interdisciplinary, fully-refereed publication
of scholarly writings on Africa. It is different from
other journals, however, in that: it is the first U.S.
electronic journal; it isavailable at no charge to
scholars who have access to the world wide web;the
electronic format allows for rapid turnaround; submissions
can be'printed' within three months. The first issues
of the journal will bepublished on the WWW May 1, 1997,
and will be found at:
