CHARTER
The newsgroup soc.culture.south-africa is primarily intended for
socio-cultural discussions on South Africa. However, the discussions
may include other issues with direct bearing on South Africa, and the
southern African region. The audience will likely be Southern
Africans in different parts of the world and all other interested
parties. The topics to be discussed include, but are not limited to,
the following:
Owing to South Africa's controversial past and the infancy of the
post-apartheid era, all participating members are urged to be mutually
respectful towards each other and to remain cognizant of the various
backgrounds, diverse as they will be,of all the participants.
