The Ethnologue is a catalog of the world's languages
including information on alternate names, number
of speakers, location, dialects, linguistic affiliation,
and other sociolinguistic and demographic information.
This database represents the 12th edition of the
Ethnologue, published in 1992.

Constitution
In the 1992 constitution Morocco is a constitutional
monarchy under King Hassan who so far has proved
successful in fighting off islamists and other
revolutionaries. The ICL-Edition is based on
the 1992 consolidated version of Morocco's Constitution.
The Western Sahara freedom movement Polisario
is fighting for independence since 1976. A referendum,
promised by Morocco for 1992, did not take place
even though UN forces arrived for supervision.
