Reception for Graduate Students focusing on Africa, or from Africa

The purpose of the reception is to welcome all of you, and to introduce you to the Center’s faculty and staff, as well as  to the resources that are available to you at Penn.  Over the past weeks, we have reached out to many schools at Penn requesting the names of graduate students with research interest in Africa. We hope this reception will be the first step of a great opportunity for all of you to network with colleagues in other departments/schools and to think of way on how the Center could assist you in inter-school collaboration in terms of courses and programming that will enrich your knowledge of Africa and complements each other’s work while here at Penn.
