The Organization
for Social Science Research in Eastern and Southern Africa
(OSSREA) has
made a leap into electronic publishing by producing a very broad range of research
outputs on its first ever CD-ROM. This digital publication titled
OSSREA On CD
brings together in one volume over fifty
research documents published by the Organization from 1990
to 2000. In addition to the full text documents, the CD contains a fully indexed
cumulative bibliography together with abstracts of all OSSREA publications produced
up to 2000. It also contains official documents such as the OSSREA Constitution,
Strategic Plan, and activity reports that provide background information
on OSSREA’s governance, vision, research projects and programs. OSSREA
On CD is hence
an informative source material for researchers, graduate students, teachers, development
practitioners, policy makers and donors.
