Edible part(s), preparation methods and palatability
the leaves edible. They are boiled in water like other vegetables and mostly used to supplement Moringa oleifera leaves when they are scarce on-farm. Farmers stated in Konso that 'Qaaqula' leaves are also consumed in normal times.

Agroecology
initially planted by farmers and then it disperses and maintains itself in farmlands by its own.
