General description
It is a small bush.

Fruits are edible. The skin of the
fruit has to be removed and the red flesh can be eaten. Everybody collects
the fruits and they are eaten all the time that they are available between
September and April. Everybody enjoys the fruit even in good times. High
consumption gives an unpleasant dryness n the stomach.

Grows in lowland areas, e.g. the Tekeze
River lowlands.
