Attractions: On display is every stamp ever issued in Ethiopia and a large collection of foreign stamps.

NATIONAL ARCHAEOLOGICAL INSTITUTE AND MUSEUM

Location: King George VI Avenue, between Arat and Sidist Kilos.
Attractions: The skeleton of "Lucy", found in Ethiopia and dated at 3.5 million years old, crowns, jewelery and costumes.

INSTITUTE OF ETHIOPIAN STUDIES AND LIBRARY
Location: On the university campus, housed in the former Ras Makonnen Palace.
Attractions: A unique collection of rare books, manuscripts, and journals.

ETHNOLOGICAL MUSEUM
Location: In the same building as the Institute of Ethiopian Studies, in the Ras Makonnen Palace, second floor.
Attractions: Clothing and national costumes, tools, implements, traditional boats, beds, all from different parts of Ethiopia.
