(Web Updates)

Editor's Note

In the almost five years of publication of AfricaFocus Bulletin, the number of sources available to readers over the internet, by web and e-mail, has continued to grow exponentially. I am pleased that so many of you continue to find this occasional bulletin of carefully selected analysis useful.

I am also continuing to work to make the AfricaFocus website more useful to an even wider range of readers, most of whom (over 80%) arrive at the site through search engines, often searching for good information on issues currently in the news or for information on a specific country or issue.

As you know, they and you can find on the site a full archive of past AfricaFocus Bulletins (this one is number 338). The archive is also accessible by country and by topic. And a set of country pages gives additional background sources, including the most recent news and analysis from AllAfrica.com, IRIN, and Human Rights Watch.

This AfricaFocus Bulletin provides a quick update of new features recently added to http://www.africafocus.org, of recommended sites for current coverage and analysis of the crisis in Zimbabwe, and of new content added to http://www.noeasyvictories.org
