UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA - AFRICAN STUDIES CENTER |
Monday Developments is a newsletter published by Interaction (1815 H St. NW, Washington, D.C. 20006), supposedly a 'consortium' of nonprofit organizations. I don not know more. With regards to the Washington Post, I believe it is only in the Sunday edition that international jobs are posted. Good luck.
Monday Developments is the bi-weekly newsletter of the American Council for Voluntary Action or InterAction located at 1717 Massachusetts Avenue NW 8th Floor Washington DC 20036 202--667-8227. InterAction is a broad based coalition of over 150 private and voluntary organizations working in international development, regfugee assistance and protection, disaster relief and preparedness, public policy, and education of American about the developing world. Monday Developments updates staff of humanitarian organizations on global events that affect their work. It also serves as a link between non-governmental organizations in the North and the South.
The newsletter subscription rates are free to board members and staff of InterAction member agencies, other organizations $275 per year and individuals $65 annually. It is not available at this time electronically although InterAction will soon have access to the Internet and if there is enough expressed interest by folks like you this could change.
I might add that Monday Developments is indexed in A Current Bibliography on African Affairs and in Washington Economic Watch. Request your local library to subscribe if you cannot afford it.
