Inquiries on the net are often related to the search for interna- tional employment opportunities. During a visit to Boston this weekend, I noted three new publications that may be of interest:

1. The Almanac of International Jobs and Careers: A Guide to Over 100 Employers, Second Edition Ronald L. Krannich and Caryl Rae Krannich Impact Publications, Manassas Park, VA, 1994, $19.95 In addition to coverage of the usual international organiza- tions, the book also lists many international consulting firms, private Voluntary Organizations, Nonprofit Corpora- tions, Teaching opportunities, and internships

2. Jobs in Russia and the Newly Independent States Moira Forbes Impact Publications, Manassas Park, VA, 1994, $15.95 Less detail than the book noted above, but a first effort to address opportunities in Russia and NIS

3. American Jobs Abroad Victoria Harlow and Edward Knappman (eds) Visible Ink Press (Division of Gale Research), 1994, $19.95 Lists more than 800 U.S. corporations that employ Americans overseas, and about 100 government agencies and not-for profit agencies.
