At each workshop participants will receive:

• Brief Tour of the Balch Institute’s current exhibit "Extended Lives: The African Immigrant Experience in Philadelphia"
• Educational Materials on the African Immigrant Experience in Philadelphia
• Suggestions on how to use educational materials about Africa and African immigration in the classroom
