Florida Atlantic University invites
applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in History to begin fall semester 2007. We welcome applications from scholars conducting research on the Black Atlantic world from within a variety of national and cultural contexts in Africa and/or the Americas. Successful candidates will teach course in their specialty as well as offer courses in African history. PhD in hand at time of appointment as well as promise of excellence in research and teaching are required. Send letter of application, C.V., three letters of recommendation, a substantive writing sample, and sample syllabi postmarked by November 20, 2006 to Eric J.
