IRIN ANNOUNCEMENT

MArch 1998

IRIN is seeking resumes of qualified people to fill potential vacancies as
Information Officer/Humanitarian Affairs Officers with OCHA/IRIN. The
jobs, based in Nairobi or Abidjan, would be for an initial period of three
months, and candidates would be required to fulfill the following minimum
criteria:

o At least two years relevant experience in the fields of information,
journalism and/or humanitarian assistance in the region
o Proven, fast, writing skills in English
o Good written and spoken French
o Familiarity with the use of computers for word processing and e-mail
o Willingness to travel in the region

This is not an official UN job advertisement, and is only an invitation to
