Summer Institute on Nigerina Tertiary Education, 02/01
The African Programs Branch of the Office of Academic
Exchange Programs of the Bureau of Educational and
Cultural Affairs announces an open competition for
a Summer Institute on Education Reform for Nigerian
Tertiary Education Administrators and Policy Makers.
Public and private non-profit organizations meeting
the provisions described in IRS regulation 26 CFR 1.501(c)
may submit proposals to provide a six-week program
for up to 25 Nigerian tertiary level education administrators
and government officials responsible for making and
implementing education policy. Institutions that possess
expertise in educational administration and African
education systems, particularly Nigeria, are encouraged
to apply. Requested Bureau funding must not exceed
$200,000.
