CHPSS Media Award in Health. 06/01

GOAL of AWARD:
* To promote Health Communication for Social and Behaviour Change in Nigeria.

OBJECTIVES of AWARD:
1. To publicly recognise excellence in health communication in Nigeria.
2. To motivate young as well as mid-career Nigerians with promise to commit to Health and Development Communication for Change.

BENEFITS of AWARD:
* Cash stipend and a Certificate of Recognition;
* Life-associate membership of CHPSS;
* Support for career/institutional development.

HOW TO APPLY/NOMINATE:
1. Any Nigerian or Nigerian corporate/institutional organisation may apply or be nominated. In case of individuals, preference shall be given to persons below age 45. Females are particularly encouraged to apply or be nominated.

2. Nomination/Application should consist of: i)A curriculum vitae (for individuals) or Statement of purpose and achievements (Corporations/Institutions). ii) A covering letter (of no more than 500 words) stating in the applicant's/sponsor's own words, the work that the applicant/ nominee does or has done in communication for change in health and development in Nigeria.
iii) Letter of reference from two individuals who can speak to the applicant's/nominee's work.
iv) Two examples of applicant's/nominee's recent work.
