Theme: Challenges to the Health Systems in Africa in the Era of
Globalisation
Sub-themes:
- Emerging and Re-emerging Diseases
- Traditional Medicine and Practices
- Neglected Diseases (e.g. Tick-borne Relapsing Fever, Brucellosis, Trichinosis,
Plague, etc.)
- Malaria and other parasitic diseases
- Health System and Policy Research
- Disease Surveillance and Health Management Information Systems
Abstracts are invited on the above sub-themes. Abstracts not exceeding 250 words must
be submitted electronically by December
31st 2003. When applicable abstracts should include the objectives, methodology, results
and conclusions. They should have the
surnames and initials of the authors and the presenter's name
should be underlined.
