Medical Infobahn for Europe - International Congress on Medical Informatics, Biometry and Epidemiology

August 27 - September 1, 2000

Hannover, Germany

I am pleased to invite you to our Congress during EXPO 2000 in Hannover, Germany. Due to technical problems we are a little late in our mailing. Therefore the deadline for paper submission has been extended.

We are expecting proposals for a sound contribution from you and your colleagues. Instructions how to prepare research papers and application reports, a description of the procedure to submit proposals for tutorials and workshops and electronic registration of contributions are available on our web-sites:

http://www.hcc.de

and

http://www.mie2000.de

The complete call for papers and invitation can be downloaded as PDF file from the above sites.

Please have a look at the announcement and find those topics that describe your research area. Present the results of your activities in the framework of our international congress during EXPO2000. Awards will be given to authors and best contributions. Do not miss this event!

Participation will be exciting and affordable. Registration fees are lower than ever and include nearly all you expect from a conference like that. Accommodation is available in various categories but needs an early booking for receiving reasonable rates. MIE 2000 /GMDS 2000 addresses especially young scientists. We are preparing support for presentation and travelling. Feel free to contact us.

To submit a paper use:

http://www.mie2000.de

The site is open for submission until February 15, 2000.

Please prepare your paper as a MS-Word paper and use DOS naming conventions. You will find further hints on the Web pages.

Looking forward to see you in Hannover, one of the origins of medical informatics.
