The 5th Eastern Africa Media Training
The Inter Region Economic Network (IREN) has been training journalists in East Africa on development related issues since 2003. The media events have a general objective of exposing journalists to principles of wealth generation. IREN is proud to host the 5th Eastern Africa Media Training to include: Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Sudan and Ethiopia.

To be eligible for this training, one must be a journalist who reports on Business and Development related topics in general. Editors and sub editors will have an added advantage.
Interested applicants should submit the following by February 14, 2007: -
- One paragraph articulating your vision for Africa
- CV
- Copies of articles/ tapes of work previously done in the fields of business and development related topics.
- Cover letter indicating media house and contacts of the immediate supervisor
