Train
Take the Long Island Rail Road (for schedules and fares: http://www.mta.info/mta/schedules.htm) from Pennsylvania Station in New York City or Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn to the Hempstead Station, which is less than two miles from Hofstra's campus.

When you arrive at the Hempstead Station, the complimentary Hofstra Campus Shuttle Bus will take you to the Hofstra campus. The shuttle will be either a large, blue bus or a small white commuter van. Otherwise, just take a taxi for a short 5-minute trip to the Hofstra campus.

The Hofstra Campus Shuttle Bus arrives across the street from the Hempstead Station at 7:30 am and then every 38 minutes after the hour.

Car

From Upstate New York
Take the Throgs Neck Bridge to the Cross Island Parkway then onto the Grand Central Parkway eastbound. The Grand Central Parkway will become the Northern State Parkway. Bear right and exit at Exit 31A, Meadowbrook Parkway.

FROM MEADOWBROOK PARKWAY

Once on the Meadowbrook Parkway, get off at Exit M4 West (Hempstead--Coliseum). This will be the same exit number whether you are on the Meadowbrook Parkway Northbound or Southbound. Follow the exit ramp to Hempstead Turnpike-West.

On Hempstead Turnpike, at the third traffic light, turn left onto California Avenue (Hofstra's Information and Public Safety Office is located on the far left corner). PARKING is available in both parking lots on the left side of California Ave.

Or, Take the Triboro Bridge to the Grand Central Parkway. The Grand Central Parkway will become the Northern State Parkway. Bear right and exit at Exit 31A/Meadowbrook Parkway. From this point see directions From Meadowbrook Parkway (above).*

From Manhattan
Take the Midtown Tunnel, which will lead you onto the Long Island Expressway (L.I.E.). You will be traveling eastbound on the L.I.E. for approximately 15 miles. After the Roslyn Road exit move into the far right lane. You will notice a large sign: Northern State/Meadowbrook Parkway (Exit 38). The right lane will lead you onto this road. You are now on the Northern State Parkway. Bear right and exit at Exit 31A/Meadowbrook Parkway. From this point see directions From Meadowbrook Parkway (above).*

From the George Washington Bridge
Proceed over the bridge to the Cross Bronx Expressway onto the Throgs Neck Bridge to the Cross Island Parkway, then onto the Grand Central Parkway eastbound. The Grand Central Parkway will become the Northern State Parkway. Bear right and exit at Exit 31A/Meadowbrook Parkway. From this point see directions From Meadowbrook Parkway (above).* From the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge
Take left exit off bridge onto the Belt Parkway East and follows signs to merge left onto Exit 25A/Southern State Parkway East. Stay on Southern State Parkway to Exit 22N/Meadowbrook Parkway North. From this point see directions From Meadowbrook Parkway (above).*

The Business Development Center in Axinn Library The Business Development Center is located on the second floor of the Axinn Library, the tallest building on the South Campus.
