SECOND NOTICE

Africa First, LLC of Minnesota, USA, in association with the Government of Ghana, local and foreign health organizations and practitioners of indigenous and modern medicine, cordially in- vites all the citizens of the world to a Global Summit On HIV/AIDS, Traditional Medicine & Indigenous Knowledge, at the Accra International Conference Centre, Ghana, from March 14, 2006 through March 18, 2006.

The objectives of the conference are:

1. To serve as a forum for the identification and testing of po- tentially beneficial low-cost naturally-derived medicinal prod- ucts;

2. To promote partnerships between indigenous healers, conven- tional medical practitioners and corporate institutions for sharing their indigenous knowledge of plants of medicinal value for future development and production of drugs and herbal prod- ucts; and

3. To encourage governments to adopt and enforce laws to protect and conserve plants of medicinal value; and to protect the rights of indigenous practitioners.
