Ghana Traditional Medicine Conference, 07/00

The Internatoinal Conference on Traditional Medicine which was originally scheduled to take place at the Accra International Conference Centre, Ghana, on the 5th and 6th of April, 2000 has now been postponed to the 19th and 20th of July, 2000 by the Ministry of Health of Ghana in association with Africa First LLC, the newest experts on cross-cultural and medical tours to Benin, Ghana and Senegal.

Participants from Canada and the United States and regions nearby are expected to depart JFK New York by Ghana Airways for Accra, Ghana on Saturday, July 15, 2000 and return on Saturday, July 22, 2000 and will follow the same program already circulated.

Price remains at US$1,900.00 per person on double occupancy, to include conference registration, round trip New York/Accra/New York airticket; round trip airport/hotel transfer with assistance; ground transportation on deluxe airconditioned bus; 5 star hotel accommodation on full board, escorted tours to educational, scientific,historical and cultural sites, and shopping.

A non-refundable deposit in the amount of US$350.00 should be made by either credit cards or managers checks not later than May 15, 2000, to Astral Empress Travel which is responsible for all travelling arrangements from New York. The balance payment should be made not later than June 15, 2000.

All persons interested in presenting papers at the conference are advised to forward copies fo such presentations,clearly typed in double spacing, between 5 and 20 pages long, butr not to exact more than 30 minutes presentation time, to Africa First LLC, not later than May 30, 2000, for review by an Editorial Committee.

50 exhibition booths will be available for hire at US$200.00 per booth by parties who are interested in exhibiting medicinal products at the conference. Requests for hire, and assignment of booths should be completed not later than May 30, 2000.
