Workshop on HIV/AIDS, Montreal, 04/06

The Canadian Council of Area Studies Learned Societies (CCASLS) is sponsoring a thematic workshop on HIV/AIDS on 24th April 2006. CCASLS brings together four Area Studies organizations in Canada, associations devoted to African, Asian, Middle Eastern, Latin American and Caribbean studies. Sponsored by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) we are interested in providing a forum consistent with the IDRC's mission of empowerment through knowledge. We hope to attract health professionals, policy makers, social researchers, academics and anyone concerned with the many dimensions of the HIV/AIDS global crisis.
