We will post at the following URL:

proposals
that we received from some of you. These proposals vary in both content
and format but converge on (i) the need to present a compelling issue worth your time and (ii) the
demonstration of preparedness to undertake the research. In that sense, we would assume -- for
the purpose of this assignment -- that the concept papers that are posted on the ADDW Web page could
lead to full-blown dissertation proposals for which a meticulous plan of work should be presented.
1. After reviewing the Plan of Work video unit, describe the strengths and weaknesses of the
plans
presented (if any) in the proposals that some of you submitted. E-mail your answer to: antonio_mcdaniel@pop.upenn.edu
2. Develop and present alternative plans to circumvent the difficulties you have identified or
