AfricaBib (Davis Bullwinkle)
AfricaBib was created in 1999 as a way to freely disseminate information
from two African studies databases as well as information on Africa from
other sources. The website presently includes:(1) Africana Women's
Database; (2) Women Travelers, Explorers, and Missionaries to Africa,
1763-Present; (3) Africana Periodical Literature Bibliographic Database.

African Journal of
Biotechnology
The African Journal of Biotechnology (AJB), a new broad-based
journal, was founded on two key tenets: To publish the most exciting
research in all areas of applied biochemistry, industrial microbiology,
molecular biology, genomics and proteomics, food and agricultural
technologies, and metabolic engineering. Secondly, to provide the most
rapid turn-around time possible for reviewing and publishing, and to
disseminate the articles freely for teaching and reference purposes.
All articles published in AJB are peer-reviewed. The African Journal of
Biotechnology (ISSN 1684-5315) is published monthly (one volume per
year) by Academic Journals.

The International Network for Scientific Publications (INASP) launched AJOL
in 1998. AJOL offers a document delivery service, and full (improved)
searching and browsing facilities, as well as a new Email alert function.
